Arms Wide Open

Hello my dear Beautiful You friends,

I apologize for the hiatus between blogs. When May comes around, I go into hyper teacher mode to complete paperwork and grades on time. Then there’s the coaching of students and self and the mantra, “You/I can do this,” and “This too shall pass,” and then summer vacation is here and… wow, we/I thrived for yet another school year (number 13:).

And now, my heart is bursting with love of life and the adventures we face daily – the minutia and keeping our heads above it, and the joy and laughter of living another day.

And then there are days like today, a time out of time, as I make my way via the Santa Barbara Airbus to LAX where I will embark on my first return trip to Paris since I was 15 – over 32 years ago! LOL!!! The best part of this fantastic journey ahead of me… I get to spend my son’s 19th birth day with him in the city of love!

It’s been an interesting process getting to this point in the trip – the just starting point. Buttons have been pushed, fear and doubt have played havoc with my heart, but my resolve to enjoy this adventure with arms wide open and my heart full of grace and ease is that much stronger for the angst.

I know this will be a fabulous trip and I will be the better for having lived it.

Here’s to your own summer adventure. May it be grand, no matter where you go or what you do. Soak it all up and slurp it down! And delight in the every day, extraordinary beauty that is you.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Love and blessings,

Shannon
